My partner and I wanted to grab lunch in the area. I’ve never been to Buca di Beppo and it’s been well over a decade since my partner dined here. Dewann was our server and he was wonderful - welcoming, knowledgeable, and attentive. The food was delicious- tasted like Italian comfort food. Pricing is also solid - our portions were huge for the cost. Definitely appreciated that.

I can't believe it's been over 11 years since we've been at this location. We came here since it's closer to home and it's been awhile. I forgot the entrance is the kitchen first. They were busy since it was Father's Day. They don't even have a dedicated host as they were all doing something else and I had to wait about 5-10 mins for someone to assist. Place is still the same. Decor has not changed. Portions were generous for family style but price seems expensive as everything else in the Bay Area. We ordered the below: Chicken Marsala (3 stars) Prosciutto stuffed chicken (4 stars) Margherita Pizza (3 stars) Buca Big Fettuccine Alfredo (4 stars) Lasagna (3 stars - very dry and too big globs of ricotta cheese) Salmon Basilico (5 stars) Caesar salad (4 stars) Staff were friendly. Our server DeWann was a good entertaining server and assisted with choices but he accidentally spilled sauce from the chicken Marsala all over three of my daughters. One of my daughter's new purse, the other was all over her back shirt and hair, and my last daughter was on the side of her shirt. No apologies. Not idea how that happened but I don't think he even noticed it. This location is ok and park

We ordered: Large chicken w/ potatoes Large Carbonara Small Salmon Small Baked Rigatoni ALL of our food was DELICIOUS!!! Our only complaint is that each dish came one at a time with huge gaps of time between... so by the time the chicken with potatoes came, some were too full to try it and the rest of our food was cooled off. BUT the dishes were super tasty, especially the chicken with potatoes! Our waitress was very sweet and apologized

Our server Dewann is amazing, me and my girls came for a small birthday celebration and had a great time! Dewann recommended us a really nice limoncello cocktail and it was so tasty and a great addition to our girls night. The carbonara pasta was amazing and we ordered a Buca Big and had a lot left to spare to take home. Tiramisu 10/10 would get again. Thank you Dewann for an amazing time and a lovely cheer for the birthday girl!

I haven’t been going to Buca di Beppo for years, but most things have changed. Food portion sizes have gotten much smaller. I guess that inflation has really hit them rock bottom that they may have to start cutting costs. I get that inflation happens every year but I didn’t know that it has hit that bad. I know that they have larger sizes for some entrees, but still more expensive. I think that’s why I don’t see people coming to this restaurant anymore. For instance, the pizza used to be twice as big as what they gave us. We can tell when they put one can instead of two to hold it. Another example is when the portion size of the calamari got smaller. I think for a small they just put calamari on the plate. Now it’s put on a pan to make it seem like that it’s a good portion size. The food is still good though, but it just wasn’t the same in terms of portion size especially when prices gone up. I guess that they’re trying to accommodate solo diners but the restaurant started off as a place that serves family-sized entrees. I guess that it’s good news for solo diners and bad news for groups.
